It was a great place to stay, and the booking was very communicative but there was no toilet paper and no hand soap, the amenities needed were not provided

The apartment was beautiful, clean, pleasant, quiet. But Barsala's operations were terrible. It's actually a company called Landing (or contracts with it) and their "local/urgent" contact is actually in another state and not on duty after 5pm (when check-in is). The arrival instructions were not entirely accurate. When I found the room, I couldn't get the door open -- fussy key/doorknob. I called the main hotline and was sent to an offshore call center. They called the emergency maintenance guy, who had to drive half an hour to help me get in. Huge inconvenience for him and me. Then the wifi network didn't exist. The automated line sent me another one that didn't exist. The two actual humans from Landing who I got in touch with said they would send a tech out to fix it, but never did. And there was no obvious password for any common area wifi there might have been. Another really frustrating failure when I was there on a work trip and needed access to the internet. I understand they're trying to operate in an asset-lite model, it's not that expensive, and I appreciate being able to stay in an apartment, but yeesh -- you should at least deliver what you say you will.
