Staying at this little hotel just outside Amsterdam was such a unique and wonderful experience. It’s only 15 minutes from the city center, but it feels like a world away, surrounded by nature, with birds everywhere and stunning views of water and greenery.
The restaurant was a real highlight for me. I tried the vegetarian steak, and honestly, I couldn’t believe how close it was to the real thing. Everything was so flavorful, and the wine list was incredible—real quality wines that perfectly complemented the food.
The employees were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The open fire in the kitchen and the wood stoves throughout the hotel gave it such a snug and romantic vibe, especially with this cold winter weather.
The room was perfect—super comfortable bed, warm lighting, and beautiful art everywhere, from local and international artists. Every detail in the hotel felt so thoughtfully put together, including the gorgeous Christmas decorations.
This place is a real gem, and I can’t wait to come back! It felt like the perfect mix of city convenience and peaceful escape.
