Old rooms but great service.
The hotel was ok, up to expectations but quite old interior and would need a renovation and upgrade to get full pott. But the staff was friendly and service was to its finest. Breakfast was nice and satisfying.

We stayed in Eksjö for 3 nights. The hotel staff were fabulous; friendly and helpful. It was clean and a very pleasant stay. The beds were comfy. There was a good selection for breakfast and I had something different each morning. Eksjö is so beautiful and this was an amazing first trip to Sweden.

Amazing historic hotel in the heart of Eksjo. Close to everything. The buffet breakfast was incredible! Love lingonberry juice! Something for every one. Spacious rooms. Can not say enough.

A train wreck. Stay away.
Absolutely dreadful stay. Hotel failed on each and every account. The hotel was worn, in dire need of a brush up, frlt unclean, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, towels were missing but worst of all the bathroom stank like sewer. When the receptionist asked us if we enjoyed our stay we mentioned the bsthroom issues. In response, she focused on the towels (!) and asked why we hadn’t contacted the reception. (It was closed when we arrived.) Hello!? The restaurant was equally terrible. The cod dish looked like a classic Swedish dish judging by the menu, but the train wreck of a dish that ee were served had nothing in common with that dish except the ingredients. Perhaps luckily it had no taste whatsoever. Simultanously, a group of guest and started topping up their drinks with their own vodka from a PET bottle. Fawlty towers goes Sweden. I am Swedish and appalled that such a beautiful hotel building in a lovely town hosts something this bad..

En natt på Statt!
Anrikt mysigt stadshotell. Stort och bekvämt rum.mycket bekväma sängar. Länstol i ett hörn - hade behövt ett litet bord och en lampa. Bra badrum med dusch. Här saknade jag dock en hylla att ställa necessären på. Middag i matsalen. Trevlig atmosfär men lite för mörk. Fick läsa menyn med ficklampa God mat och dryck. Lite svårt att fånga personalens uppmärksamhet.
