This hotel is top-notch in ALL ways. The hotel description and photos on the website are completely accurate. We booked for one night, and ended up extending our stay for two more nights Beautiful, modern, very clean, wonderful helpful staff, fresh abundant breakfast with lots to choose from. We rode the bicycles the hotel had, all over town, including the Lucca walls. It made our first time in Lucca fantastico!

We had a really pleasant 5 days at the Albergo Celide 7th-12thMay 2023. The hotel is small but perfectly put together. We had room 10 which was a deluxe double, the room was spacious and nicely decorated and immaculately clean, pillows and bedding was was changed daily and serviced daily, there was ample storage for a short stay and the room had a small fridge for drinks. The bathroom was fine although the shower was a little claustrophobic and dark and the humidity fan was not working so the there was a feint odour inside the shower. The room also had a safety deposit box that you could leave valuables which was easy to programme. The desk staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful no questions too small, the breakfast was a typical continental type with breads cheese cold meats cereal and patisserie’s and was very acceptable and staff very accommodating. The hotel provided free umbrellas due to the poor weather during our stay and to they also provide free bikes for using around the lovely medieval streets of Lucca. Altogether a great trip thank you.
