My studio was clean and well equipped with things to cook. There are supermarkets nearby and it takes 10 min to get to the centre by bus. Walking it takes around 30-35 min. The only problem that I had was slow response from the staff when I had a problem with my room code. One evening suddenly the code stopped working and I couldn,t enter the room. The phone number they provide didn,t work when calling from a different Spanish phones, neither from the American phone of other guests who tried to help. Roaming was connected in all cases!! An icelandic friend had to call from an icelandic phone number to get an answer and get a new room code. Answering by email very slow for emergencies. At the end it took me 50 min to get access to my room, and without the icelandic friend who knows... There should be a phone in the entrance for direct calls to the staff, or assistance through whatsapp. The appartment was good but assistance is a big unsolved issue if something goes wrong!!

Nicely decorated. No luggage space or drawers to put your clothes though. Good Nespresso machine (including coffee pods) but a little short on pots/pans (1 each). Can be noisy at times from neighbours next door or upstairs. Good laundry facilities (including soap). Close to good cafe and supermarket. Too far away to walk for downtown Reykjavik. There is a public busstop nearby. We had lots of snow/ice so walking was difficult. Busstop to pick up for excursions was about 15-20min walk.

Outstanding accommodation on every level and exactly what I was looking for for my trip. The apartments are in a great location, central for most things you could want and need. Key code entry was super simple and the interior was quiet and very clean. I was absolutely thrilled to get a room looking out over Esja, who I saw come to life every single morning. Never had an issue with parking and there's a lovely bakery opposite the entrance. Highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be back!
