Boutique hotel situation near a park, lots of restaurants and close to all the tourist attractions. Neighborhood felt safe to walk during the day and night. Staff were all super young, but attentive to your needs. Take the option with breakfast, it’s worth it. And before bed, head up to the rooftop bar for a nightcap.

Majagua Hotel is beautifully designed & well decorated. Our room was well appointed & comfortable with a patio too. The Roof bar area was used to serve breakfast as well as drinks in the evening. The staff was very friendly & attentive & were always helpful. It’s a short walk to the center of town.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the centre of Oaxaca. The breakfast and lunch options were fantastic and able to have on the roof which had the sun all day. All the staff were lovely. Cannot recommend enough.

Comfort, Quality and an Excellent Staff
This was a fantastic stay all around. The hotel is kept in excellent condition, the rooms are just the right size and the staff is probably the best I've dealt with in years. They were always willing to accommodate to make the experience a great one. Breakfast was included and was definitely a nice perk. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of Oaxaca. The location is close to all major sites, just about 4 blocks from Santo Domingo.

Majagua is very central- excellent location- close to the best restaurants- 10 minutes walk to el zocalo y la iglesia de Santi Domingo- I wish the rm came with a mini fridge to Keep drinks cold— We will definitely come back here! 😎

Nice hotel, breakfast included which was always very good. The terrace is lovely. Good location, only a few minutes away from Santo Domingo church and great dining options. My only issue is that we were given a room on the first floor and it was a bit noisy- both internally and externally. If you’re a light sleeper , may want to keep that in mind.
