Stayed here with our 14 month old in a pool suite villa. It was ideal, we moved from the beach to the pool, the pool to the beach. Staff were amazing and new our sons name for every meal. Highly recommend this place! I would stay here again. The transfer to and from the airport also had a baby seat for the car!

Very cute beach resort, tastefully decorated with a good restaurant, 2 nice pools and very kind and helpful staff. The beach is small, the sand is course and the water not great for swimming. We stayed in a garden room and if we were to go here again would definitely spring for the pool or sea view rooms as they offer better views and more privacy.

Really superb boutique hotel.
I was nearly a bit cautious about booking Rocky’s because they had so many good reviews I wondered if it was real. I’m so glad I went ahead - this is a hotel that deserves them all. We had a magnificent stay here and were made to feel so welcome by the staff, delicious breakfast, amazing room on the beach….we could go on, but this would rank amongst the one of the best stays I’ve had worldwide. Only one negative - Rocky’s also unfortunately refers to the beach in parts, but the resort does provide reef shoes.

We were super impressed with our stay at Rocky’s. The staff were so warm and friendly and kind. Nothing was any trouble and the facilities were all kept clean. Lots of little extra touches made the experience so enjoyable. BBQ Dinner on the beach on a Saturday night - complimentary cocktails for an hour Thursday night. Happy hour (for two hours) every night. If you don’t want to leave the hotel you don’t need to! Two pools to choose from. Pool table and library. The beach for a swim or take out the sup / canoe for a paddle. Plenty to do!

Mixed experience but great service and team.
Great hotel, team and service overall. A little out of the way and taxis not always available to flag down. However, there’s drivers who sometimes give out business cards so can drop them a message for pick up. Breakfast is solid mix of western and Thai :) Beach is not really a beach given how rocky it is - I got an injury whilst there - but take a taxi to Lamai beach (3 mins) and you’re all good.

Nice hotel but a few things missing
Overall a nice experience. Modern and spacious rooms, two nice pool areas, helpful and nice staff, overall good food. Things that could have been better: 1) Prices: The restaurant at the hotel is way overpriced, around 3 times what you would pay at a local restaurant. They add 20% service charge on all food & drink bills. 2) Location: Feels a bit far from things you would want to see on the island. There is a shuttle service until 5 pm, at the top of each hour. For a hotel of this level, I'd have expected the shuttle service to be much more frequent and easier to book. We ended up using taxis a lot, which was an added expense. 3) Spa: No health forms or injury questions before a massage. You just walk in and they start. I had to warn about an ankle injury during a massage.
