    This is an exceptionally spacious apartment for two people, ideally located on the first and second floors of Britten Close on Church Farm Road with its own parking and shared garden. You can take a 10/15 minute stroll into the picturesque town centre to enjoy the many eateries, shops and cinema; or wander down to the beach and promenade at the Thorpeness end of town.

    Light streams into all rooms through south facing windows with the living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, and the pretty bedroom with king size bed and ample storage on the second floor.

    Whether you’re looking for a seaside holiday or a short break, Aldeburgh has so much to offer with its pastel-coloured businesses and 19th century holiday homes to the east and the pebble beach with fisherman’s huts selling the daily catch stretching northwards. Numerous festivals in the town and at nearby Snape Maltings are an added attraction.

    The Space:
    GROUND FLOOR
    The entrance to the apartment is beside the parking space with a door opening onto a staircase rising to the two first floor flats, each with their own private entrance.

    FIRST FLOOR
    You’re welcomed into a hallway with carpeted stairs ahead of you, space for coats and footwear, the living room and bathroom round to the right. There’s hard flooring throughout the first floor.

    LIVING/DINING ROOM
    This light and airy double aspect room has a comfy two-seater sofa and generous armchair inviting you to relax and a dining table with four chairs so you can cater at home or enjoy a takeaway! The modern gas fire gives instant heat, making it cosy in the winter months and there’s TV in the corner.

    KITCHEN
    A good-sized kitchen with light streaming in. Integrated appliances include a Bosch electric oven, Bosch four ring gas hob and extractor, three shelf fridge with salad drawers, four drawer freezer, washing machine (? Dryer) and free-standing microwave, toaster and kettle. There’s no coffee machine but a cafetiere and cupboards are stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils.

    BATHROOM
    Sitting off the hallway beside the living room. Equipped with a bath with a hand held shower stick, large shower cubicle with shower attachment, wash basin, WC, natural light from the window above the basin and a heated towel rail with towels provided.

    SECOND FLOOR
    Relatively steep carpeted stairs rise to the first-floor landing where there’s the guest bedroom and another locked for owners use exclusively.

    BEDROOM
    This pretty bedroom sits quietly on the second floor and is wonderfully spacious, decorated in restful blues with mirrored wardrobes reflecting the light. The king size bed takes pride of place between bedside drawers and there’s ample hanging and shelving in the wardrobes with additional drawers in the bedroom and a chest of drawers on the landing.

    GARDEN
    The south facing garden is shared with the guests in the ground floor flat and is laid to lawn with a table and chairs so you can eat al fresco if you prefer or hang swimming gear out to dry. The parking area is round the back of the building with a designated space for one car by the main door.
