Lot of potential, nice layout of rooms and hotel in general. Unfortunately the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Ripped bedding sheets, mould in shower, and worn fabrics everywhere.

not a 4 star at all! max 2!
the worst 4 days ever! the room was open plan and the wind was blowing inside threw the door,it was another door connecting with neighbors toilet (very stupid) so if some one having big deal there the smell is staying in your room too because there is no ventilation in toilet! the shower didnt work all the time you need to wait every couple minutes for it to get power! the beds were old creep and very hard (not possible to sleep together as a couple) tv is too small and remote was broken! in the corridor windows were smashed, the breakfast was annoying every day just boiled eggs, the swim-pool was not cleaned at all and all leaves from palms were lying at the bottom, it was very dark aswell at evening time, no lights around the pool, absolutely no lights on the walk way to the sea! Wifi almost never worked! also no one said a word what non residents must pay 10 pounds each for passport stamp to return home!

I recently stayed at hotel nesrine. The staff were friendly, the room was ok. There were alot of people staying at the hotel at the weekend. So it was lively and the food was good. As soon as monday came all the guests had gone and the buffet went away so we were served food by the hotel staff. The food was really bad every day after the weekend. There arent so many restaurant options in the area, so it was bad food or travel out and pay more money to get some decent food.

Sun Holiday for a couple
On arrival we were given a cocktail before being shown to our rooms. Our room looked clean on arrival, however they didn't seem to change the sheets but just make the bed up and the standard of cleaning wasnt great. They just moped floor and made things look tidy. The toilet, bath & sink needed cleaning properly rather than just be washed round. The hotel caters mainly for German & French so if you go we would recommend knowing some German/French or going as a group since we found the language a big barrier. The meal times are a buffet style affair with a BBQ most evenings, the food had a heavy German/French influence but there were some local dishes. Since we stayed half board we had a bit more choice. The Pool was always busy but kept clean and tidy. The entertainers worked hard, however most of it was done in german/french which made participation more difficult for us. The beach is a 5min walk from the hotel, If you have young teenage girls the staff & lookie lookie men on the beach tend to take a bit too much of an interest, we saw this with some of the waiters at the hotel also. Hammamet is a nice day out and the beach there can be alot calmer since it is in the Bay, but it really depends on the wind direction. The hotel is well catered for activities with archery, tennis, water polo, scooter hire etc. Overall it was a good holiday and the hotel has some very nice touches but we felt a little isolated with the language barrier of the other guests.

Don't stay out of season
We stayed in February half term. The hotel is semi-closed at that time. Pool is drained of water and little or no other facilities available. The staff do their best to make your stay happy and comfortable, but this is a hotel to visit during the summer peak season.
