Excellent service!
We upgraded to a one bedroom apartment from a traditional room and it was a great use of space. There was a terrible smell but they switched us without any issue. The service at this hotel was absolutely amazing. 100% would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great location near Grand Central
During a short visit to Manhattan with family, stayed at the Shelburne. Great location close to Grand Central. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy by our room at times since it was located directly across from the linen room that housekeeping accessed regularly and door would slam periodically but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be to offer complementary bottled water.

Great Service
Luis who checked us in was very friendly, helpful, and made us laugh a lot during our very fast check in. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. Location was great. Hotel feels very safe. Rooms are a little old but clean. We paid for an upgrade and the room was huge with lots of light. Bar on the roof looked cool but we didn't have time to check it out. Beds were great and the black out curtains really helpful. Price is high but its Manhattan.

The room is very comfortable and very sizable. It was loud. I was on the street side. The bed was very comfortable, but I think the pillows were not. I like very much that there was a restaurant right at the base of the hotel and was in walking distance of Grand Central and surrounding areas. The staff was very nice and helpful.
