Not My Best Experience
The good things were only the breakfast (a vast selection of buffet) and location (located in Hoan Kiem but at a quiet spot). Other things were not that great. I rented out the most expensive room in the hotel (Grand Terrace Suite) but it was pretty basic. Firstly, I was really disappointed because although arranged before arrived I was only looking for a double bed, king or queen room, thus if they cannot provide this, I would prefer to cancel the booking, they assured me that my request is complied. When I arrived, I found my room with two single beds combined. It was very frustrating. The amenities in the Grand Terrace Suite were also quite basic compared to other Grand or most expensive rooms I stayed in Hanoi. Also for other hotels, it is normal to provide two cards when requested but it is weird that they rejected this request and can only provide one card for a room. The staff were kind. But for the money that I paid, I feel strongly is not worth it.

Very noisy large group of teenagers staying
Staff EXTREMELY helpful and kind especially the door men/ bell boys. Hotel a little dated. But clean. Shame that the gym doesn’t open until 1130 am as I’d like to exercise before breakfast. My main issue was when I stayed there were more than 150 teenagers staying on several floors. They were running around and screaming until after midnight singing and running between rooms. I asked a few times for them to be quiet if made no use. I got the impression they have groups like this staying often. It felt like a hostel.

Although the staff were very friendly and helpful, this is definitely not a 4 star experience. Our room was tiny, with no window, our sink leaked all over the floor, the room was extremely noisy and the cleaning staff banged on our door before 8 am asking if they could come in to clean our room even though we were checking out later that morning.
