Never use Super & or Hotels.com again!
The reservation process through Hotels.com was bad from the first moment. It changed the price of the room twice and when I got on the site for Athen's Oh an advertisement popped up for $100.00 less for the same room. When I spoke with a representative from Hotels.com and Super8 I was told that was an old advertisement and it had been that price since the first of the year. However I could cancel subject to their cancellation policy. I paid more money for the room to have the availability of cancellation if I needed to do so. And they wanted the full amount for the room plus $100.00 to restore it to the system! The bed was not comfortable and the so called Continental breakfast was a pitiful mass made very small Danish and a small cup of coffee...that was it!

Would not stay again. Room was clean. However, staff could not speak understandable English. At no time did he give us any info about WiFi ever, no info about breakfast. Of which was NOTHING! Covid excuse is old; when other hotel chains furnish plenty of grab & go options. Just here’s your card, room to the left. Very unwelcoming.

We chose this location specifically for the continental breakfast (I love them)! However, our anticipation was quickly diminished when we found the most abysmal breakfast I’ve ever seen. The continental “breakfast” consisted of a few bananas, some granola bars, and one sad pastry. It didn’t look like the coffee was even filled. I understand that not all hotels will offer a continental breakfast, but if you’re going to advertise one, please deliver.

Could not understand the receptionist. No continental breakfast as advertised. ( coffee and a granola bar) is NOT breakfast . Drywall / plaster cracking.. small TV. The hotel advertised that it had very nice amenities but it clearly did not when we showed up wish I would’ve never stayed there

Just OK
Access from the highway was very easy. The hotel was visible right at the exit. This hotel was serviceable and the price was decent. We were greeted promptly at the desk by a friendly person. In the room: One of the bedspreads was stained and the bathroom, specifically the tub/shower, was not really clean. The shower curtain had a spot of black (mold?) on it and the outside of the tub ner the floor was dirty.

Decent one night stay
The staff at check-in/out was very friendly, fast. There was no breakfast at all due to Covid. Our room was OK. The sheets smelled very clean, pillows were OK. There was a stain on the bedspread and an empty water bottle in the bathroom that was not ours, but there was no mold at all in the bathroom. The lights were very yellow and that could use some updating, but it's an older hotel in a college town, so not too bad considering.
