It’s OK

The hotel is in need of some refurbishment, the mattress on the bed was also quite worn. The staff are super friendly we couldn’t fault them at all. If you want a cheap hotel for the night then this should be ok !

A Typically British Seaside Hotel

A friend and I had a lovely stay at this Westcliff Hotel having enjoyed an evening at the theatre nearby. Room had a sea view, twin beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, bar service was good, staff lovely and friendly. Bedding and towels were clean, toiletries were provided, walk in shower nice and hot. Sadly though like a lot of our seaside hotels, it is very 'tired' and needs some refurbishment. Have stayed here before and would stay again - will remember my plug for charger next time as sockets not updated with USB connections!

Friendly staff and good location. Nearby restaurants and within walking distance of adventure island. The family room has two separate bedrooms which is great. Slight downsides is the room was a bit tired and had slight damp smell. Also there is no blind in bathroom although the glass is obscured you would be able to see through the window from the houses across the street at night.

Poor Management and no hot water for first 20 mins

The rooms do not look like the photograph. We left straight away - the bed was old and decoration was poor and looked like under repair. We wanted hot water for a shower and they said you have to run the water for 20 mins in order to get hot water! I suggested to hotels.com to remove this property.

Nice hotel in good location. We stayed here so we could take kids to adventure island. Stayed at radison blue last time which was twice the price and run down in comparison. Location not quiet as good but this stay was much more enjoyable. I would recommend if planning to go to adventure island. Short work and very friendly staff
