First got there and air conditioning was on its January in Wisconsin. The pull out couch was all stained and dirty didn’t want to sit on it let alone sleep on it. The beds were uncomfortable, the elevators had a fire helmet light on, not sure what that was about. All in all would not ever stay here again

The beds were not that comfortable and for being on the 8th floor, we had a not so great view out of our window of the fire escapes, electrical equipment and top of the parking lot. We felt a bit like we were in jail. Also, the pool area needed more chairs and a clock, so you knew how long you were in the pool. The breakfast was pretty good, typical hotel buffet fare. Attendant was friendly and attentive. Overall, not bad for the location and the price.

Decent place, but the "Free Parking" is not true.
The hotel was nice enough. Clean and fairly modern feeling. It was only one night for us, and we didn't use the pool or fitness center. The parking was frustrating. Their webpage says "Complimentary On-Site Parking", just like the other downtown Milwaukee hotels. But unlike the others, is is NOT free with the Hampton Inn. You pay for the ramp (labeled for Hampton Inn guests) just like anyone else that would park in that ramp. The front desk person would not acknowledge that parking was supposed to be free, despite that being hotel policy on their website. He just kept saying "You pay for parking when you leave the ramp". So, that's $22 dollars that I shouldn't have had to spend. I will be contacting the parent company (Hilton) to discuss why they say complimentary parking on their website and then don't offer it.

Good location to many downtown elements of Milwaukee. But the property itself was underwhelming (two quick examples: 2 of 3 treadmills weren’t working and the door from the parking deck to the hotel malfunctioned at least twice during our stay). The room is basic and will meet your needs if you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night, but if you’re wanting to relax and enjoy the hotel experience, this might not be the hotel for you.
