Other than being hard to find, down a very narrow muddy one lane road there is no other complaints. Once you finally find this place it’s AMAZING. The location to the beach, access to the beach, the pool, the view from the room, and OMG the breakfast is AMAZING. Continental breakfast isn’t the right word for this. It’s more like a 10 course breakfast. Exactly what you expect from a very high price classy 5 star hotel in my opinion. The staff and facility are amazing. I will choose this place for all my future stays. Only problem with the room were the mosquitoes and few ants we found on the robes in the closet. However if you leave the balcony door closed you won’t have to worry about the mosquitoes. Still not a deal breaker. Fantastic hotel.

So, if you base it solely on the property, this would be an easy 5 star review. However, if you find yourself in a pinch, and you need some accommodation from this resort, you may not get it. I arrived one day late for a three day stay, and even emailed the resort in advance to let them know I was going to be late. They reported me as a "no show." It wasn't until I got Expedia customer service involved and they contacted the resort that I was allowed to check in. Then, my room was not ready, and though I was told it would b 15 minutes, it was an hour before I was able to go to my room. Again, if you judge it on the property alone, it was awesome. The free breakfast is delicious. The pool and the beach are perfect, and you can arrange for tours with the front desk. Perhaps my experience was unusual, but it was shocking to me how difficult it was to get the property to allow me to come for the rest of my reservation. Bad communication until you arrive.
