the shower was fairly gross, it looks like mold and bacteria is growing all around the caulk, the tv gitched so badly it was unwatchable, when we asked for a new room they offered one to us, but told us we had to move right away or they wouldnt move me. they called around 1230pm while we were 2 hours away visiting a park, so we lost that small chance to get a room. the front desk lady said house keeping would come up to our room and clean the shower better. it appears they did come into the room to tidy up, but the shower was no better. we went down to the lobby for a drink after a long day, signs posted every where alerted you in a tacky way that you were absolutely not allowed to bring your own drink to the lobby. ok, no problem. ordered a miller lite from the hotel bar and almost fell over when i got the bill to see it was almost $9 for one beer. its cheaper to drink downtown chicago!!! to top it all off, our first toilet paper roll ran out, only to discover there was not a second roll anywhere! I've never been so disappointed by a hotel room.
