Poor Treatment
The property refused to accommodate me for an early check-in at noon instead of 3:00 without a $30 fee! Rooms were ready, they wouldn’t incur any cost, and I was a repeat guest. They still insisted on the charge even though I explained my situation when making my request. I desperately needed a few hours sleep after traveling since 2:30 am and needing to leave by 4:00 for a speaking engagement. Then, I was unable to sleep because of young children running back-and-forth loudly in the hallway. (The hotel was full of families with young children for riding William’s famous Polar Express that evening). The hotel could have cautioned me beforehand or dropped the fee afterwards. The staff showed no empathy nor offer any consideration despite my $30 being clearly wasted. I won’t stay there again after being treated that way as a hotel guest.

Customer service could be better. The person working the front desk had a hard time understanding English. The place was vacuumed and looked maintained. But the rugs could uses some steam cleaning and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Very bad on my back, unable to sleep.

Best sleep in a while.
We went to Williams to enjoy a trip with the grandkids on The Polar Express. We arrived at the hotel, it was decorated with lights and the grandkids loved it. Our rooms were next to each other and on the 1st floor as requested. Best sleep I’ve had in a while. And breakfast the next morning, was perfect to start our day. Everyone was very nice. I highly recommend staying here. Peaceful nights and beautiful area.

Convient
The hotel was convient to the town of Williams. Williams is on old Route 66 and has the vibe of the old towns. Great places to eat. Our room was sufficent and the bed comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast lacked if you are diabetic, however there wer great places to eat in town. I would stay here again.

Good place to stay if you're on a budget.
If you're looking for a good, budget-driven stay, this is a nice little hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff was friendly and welcoming! The property was well-kept and quiet. However, I would like to prepare you for a minimal breakfast experience. A waffle station, different types of bread, cereal, coffee and juice are provided. There are no meat options! There's very little in the way of protein, including eggs. As I said, it's great for a quick, budget-minded trip. You can always splurge at a nearby restaurant. Overall, a good place to rest and enjoy the offerings of Northern Arizona and Historic Route 66!

2/10 Poor

First, the photos of this hotel on Hotels.com and any other site are very deceiving. This hotel is very old (built in the 90's) and in dire need of renovation or destruction. It is in bad condition. Carpets are filthy with grease or oil spots. the exterior doors to the buildings housing the rooms have no locks on them, just a hole in the doors where the locks were at one time, one door had duct tape where the lock should be, very unsafe. anyone off the street can walk into the building where the rooms are. And the room, smelled of raw sewage, there was no chain lock on the door, the bed linens smelled musty and dirty and had stains on the sheets. No room service/cleaning even after we requested it. We requested another room upon check in and seeing the condition of the room and were told nothing could be done until the manager was present, the manager never arrived. Then the tv remote did not work, I requested another remote or replacement batteries, I was again told nothing could be done until the manager was there, manager never arrived. We had no choice but to stay at this hotel since the women at the front desk said there were no refunds. This place is a rip off, do not waste your time booking this hotel, go elsewhere. I do not understand how anyone can give this hotel even 2 stars, if possible I would have given 0 stars.

Great stay!
I was surprised with the room. It was very nice, freshly painted, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was fairly warm. The front desk staff were pleasant enough so all and all a great stay with no real complaints. I do however have a couple suggestions. I came and went a couple times that night (dinner and then out for drinks) and never had to use my key to enter the building. Maybe it’s just cause it’s a smaller town but to me that’s just asking for trouble. I would appreciate a secured entry into the building at least after a certain time of night like 8 PM. Also the slide lock that usually accompanies the deadbolt on the room door was missing from my room and being that it was my daughter and I the lack of both of these security features made me a little nervous.( I put the chair in front of the door.) Last suggestion would be to increase your options at breakfast and maybe use two of those waffle makers cause the line was ridiculous. We never did get in to be able to do that because it was packed from start to finish so that was kind of a bummer.
