Not a clean room
The first room we were put into was not handicap accessible even though I booked that so we moved. The 2nd room did not appear to have been cleaned very well. The kitchen floor was dirty, our feet were black after walking barefoot the first night so we bought flipflops/slippers, the surfaces had dust and other stuff stuck to them, the shower chair in the handicap bathroom looked scary so bought a shower chair at the store so no one needed to use it, there was dust/hairs in the corners of the bathroom. The breakfast was mostly a miss but they tried. When this was mentioned to the Manager on Duty while checking out she said since you pre-paid I cannot offer you anything unless you become a Bonvoy member. I shouldn't have to be a member to have a clean room that I paid for. Then I checked my cc charges and I noticed a $40 charge with no explanation and I was not given a recipt when I checked out because I prepaid so I don't understand what I was charged for since there wasn't a mini bar and we did not buy anything from their snack store. So you can charge me for nothing when I prepaid but not give a credit for a dirty room that I cleaned so I could sit on the toilet?
