A special shout out to Andreas, who was very helpful providing information/easy directions regarding restaurants within walking distance. He also would contact the locations to make sure they would accommodate our large group of 8 and have table waiting when we arrived!

The only thing that spoiled our stay, was a large (and noisy) group of visitors to the Darts competition taking place over the Easter weekend. The poor Receptionist had a hard time with them. There also a large group of American teenagers on a school trip, and they too were very noisy in the bar area; we had to ask their teachers to intervene (they were sitting there saying nothing!).

Expensive for what I got. Very basic no fridge, one pillow no kettle in the room. No tea or coffee free for guests (only at breakfast) Needs better routine for stocking items for breakfast we had to ask staff almost everyday for more eggs , bacon , milk , plates etc. The lift didn't work for a day or so. Renovations loud and gave a bad overall look. Room was in need of freshening up very dated look and a bit worn.
