Misrepresentation. No AC in room May 1-5.
This hotel and hotels.com both guilty of misrepresentation.This hotel provided no AC to rooms before May 17. It was hot and humid every day. For the price we paid, we were treated as 18th century travellers. Other tourists told us their hotel room had AC. We paid to suffer. In the U.S. this hotel and its partners would be held liable for a serious misrepresentation. We were not warned in advance and we were ripped off by hotels.com and the hotel. We deserve a refund. The hotel says by law, they cannot use the AC in rooms, a lie. The lobby and breakfast area were air conditioned. Other tourists told us their hotel rooms were airconditioned. The lobby is first class and the location was great, but our floor had the cheapest carpeting and the cleaning people placed large full garbage bags opposite our door, as we had the last room on the floor before the staircase.

There was only two hotels available due to booking last minute but this was a nice luxurious space. I did pay for a room with a window view of the river but didnt get that. Odd, might be an expedia issue, not sure? Nonetheless, it was clean, very hot so had windows open, and friendly staff. The breakfast for $9 was amazing! Great options and tasted pretty good. Its in an ideal place too, very close to train and cheap shopping.
