When my wife and I checked in they asked for a 50 room deposit no problem but I booked and paid for the room in my name but used my wife’s credit card so because it wasn’t my card they wouldn’t except my wife’s license and card because she didn’t book. The room and mind you it was 130 in the morning we we are checking in tired from moving and traveling all day we are told the only way to get in our already paid room was to go find an ATM at 130 am an$ give them 100 dollars in cash we will never stay at a la Quinta again and the front desk staff was not helpful at all a threatened to refuse our room because of our displeasure and ridiculous rule of refusing my wife’s credit card payment because I booked the room
