The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic district with easy access to all the main attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything I needed. I stayed here in the pandemic but was forced to leave the country because of it. I came back and it’s as beautiful as I remember. The hotel has a perfect location. Is the perfect size with perfect staff and amenities. The rooms are beautiful and relaxing. The gentleman at the front desk was born for this place!!! Def the only hotel I’ll stay in Santo Domingo.

Since we arrived, the staff outside at valet and the staff at the front desk were exceptional. Victor did our check in and he couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating. The property itself is beautiful with an excellent location and a very historic past. All the staff at the bars and during breakfast were outstanding and so incredibly polite and friendly!. My stay couldn’t have been more pleasant and it was really due to the amazing staff. I hope the Administration takes notice and truly appreciates its wonderful staff!. We will definitely return!!!.

I upgraded to stay in a room with a private plunge pool, the pool was broken on arrival, it took them over a day to fix and clean it, then when we started using it - we were asked to stop as it was using too much power, I would not have upgraded to this room type had I known I wouldn't have been able to use it at all. the room was clean enough, but not comfy, the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming, we were one of very few couples there over the weekend, and it didn't feel hospitable, despite them not being busy
