Amazing Hotel
This hotel's position is near Plaza de Bolivar, just walking 15 minutes. Face to San Diego TransMilenio Station, it's very convenience. And the hotel very cleanliness. I live in highest floor, the housekeeper named Carmen, she's very helpful. The receptionists can speak a little bit of English and they are very polite. The shower has hot water and hair dryer, it's very good. Next time, I will live again.

1 odd k to Historic dist
Only 1 girl doing check ins so slow to check in. She allocated me a room road side which was extremely noisy I asked to move to back section but was advised no room (I was booked and paid for 3 nights) Next morning after breakfast I requested again and a different girl allocated me a room 2 doors up which had the double glazing so reasonable quiet, this room was vacant the previous night so a sleepless night could have been avoided. Rooms do not have aircon or heating. Room has a safe and cable tv with no english stations. Breakfast was included as was ok. Hotel area is a bit sus so commonsense required !! Wifi was intermitent . Staff were very helpful and friendly , except bad call in room allocation first night.

Good value
For the price, you can't beat it. Check in took a longer than it should and the bed was as hard as a rock, but the room was clean, albeit a bit dated. Hot water worked in shower, which was an improvement from when I stayed here last year.

Did not get what I booked.
The confirmation mentioned a minibar, but the manager told me, no room has a minibar. Cheating the customer to get the booking. The breakfast had 3 options but very little was on the plate, left the dining room still hungry. The shower had a leak, even it had doors, the bathroom was flooded and water leaking into the room. The hot water in the shower went dry for 2 minutes until it came back, very inconvenient when just having shapood your hair. Towels where changed even they had a sign not to change and save water if you hang up the towels. There is a swich for the room light which cuts off the whole power in the room, so also for the bedside light and the power plugs. Had to take out the other light bulbs to just have light for the bedside light and the power plug. The area is not safe at night. For the way to the airport was only allowed to take the hotelcar, could not ask for taxi or arrange Uber. At the reception nobody spoke English, they had to call the manager, who could speak a little.

Decent for the price.
Decent hotel, not a 3-star, closer to 1.5 or 2. Bed was hard, very little water pressure in shower, no hot water, luke warm water at best. Staff was nice, area not so good, but overall not a bad value for the cost.

Great Value
It was a great value for the money. Hotel San Francisco was priced like a hostel with services like a hotel. It is an 11 storey building with a perfect view of the mountains and very easy access to downtown. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, they don't speak English. Then again, most staff in most hotels in Bogota do not speak English. Freshly cooked breakfast served at your table for free is quite a nice amenity I do not recall ever seeing before. Full service restaurant, taxi to the airport, fully stocked bar in the room, and room service costs extra. Yes, it is close to the areas with prostitution and drugs. However, that will be the case with any hotel close to downtown. What major city doesn't have that problem?

quick trip 4 days
It was a very clean hotel, the people who work there are very nice. The only incovenient i found it was when we wanted to stay more days at the hotel, they weren't so clear about it and they charged me more than the agreement but in general it was a good place to stay.

TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!
Very noisy, the beds are extremely hard, and the costumer service was very rude and unprofessional!!!! The only reason why I opted to stay was because it was for one night and the hotel was clean. Definitely not worth the money.

A bargin in Bogota...
The staff was very supportive with tips on how to make it around time. Great customer service, and an excellent location to visit some sites which are in walking distance. The complimentary breakfast wasn't bad either. I'd recommend this hotel to those who want quality without paying an arm-and-a-leg. This is my hotel of choice while in Bogota.

There is not a three-star hotel.
This hotel is not prepared to receive a tourist accustomed to three-star standard. The facts: Number 1. The network wi fi does not work. This is not possible. Number 2. As the wi fi did not work, I dealt with the manager to exchange for another service. I chose to wash and iron my clothes. The clothes come washed, but not ironed. Number 3. Is very clear that the hotel offers airport shuttles. Not true. The most that the hotel does is call a taxi that the guest has to pay. Number 4. The staff does not speak English. The staff needs more training in hospitality function.

Excellent service from staff and good quality room
The rooms are quite good for the price but the best thing about this hotel is the extremely friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the bell boy. I arrived in a taxi without money to pay for it expecting the hotel to direct me to an ATM nearby. As there was none open in the area at that time of night, the staff at the front desk lent me money to cover the cab until I could get to an ATM later that evening. The staff was also extremely helpful in providing info, arranging for taxis and even helped me order delivery food as the hotel restaurant was closed at the time i wanted to eat.

No maintenance or poor management !
I got at the hotel almost 2 :00 PM, at the room I had no papers saying what numbers to call if you want to talk to the front desk or make calls, the shower had no hot water, just after 4:00 PM I had it, I could not close the bathroom door, (door didn't fit the frame well), cant flush the toilette, (little water, slow flush and takes a long time to fill again), lights at the room was terrible, just a couple choices at the hotel restaurant and a poor breakfast. Day after I left and went to other place.

Layover...
I had to stay in bogota for 1 night layover to conect next day to my final destination so i was looking for a cheap hotel to stay, so for the price i think it was ok, but i dont recomended for a long stay in bogota, cause its in the center but located in a bad area... no air conditioning, even if the wather was ok, i think its kind of weird a hotel without it... but everything else, bed, room, bath was ok so inst big deal for 1 night.
