Settle is a great location to catch the train to Leeds or Carlisle provided that Northern Trains can provide a service, which they couldn't. A £50 Taxi bill from Skipton soured our visit. If you are coming to Settle, come by car.

Really didn't see settle at its best on a wet Sunday in November. The Victoria Hall is a splendid period venue.
"Stayed here for one night in a multiple beds room. Room was spacious and had all we needed. I would definitely recommend opting for the lake view rooms as the view is great! Both members of staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again."
"Excellent value for money when you consider that the pool, steam, sauna, jacuzzi (indoor and outdoor) plus all the items you would expect in a room are all included in the cost. Excellent location for coast and Lake District. "

"Spacious, comfy bedroom for our family of 4. We all enjoyed the swimming pool facilities, as well as the TNT football, which the staff kindly put on for me to watch Palace's famous Community Shield victory over Liverpool, while being served a number of perfectly chilled draught Stellas from the bar. The breakfast was also reasonably priced (children up to 14 eat free) and very tasty. Thank you for a memorable stay!"
