limited dining opportunities in town. Being so close to Mackinaw City and the island means much higher prices, particularly during the summer peak travel season.

"Room was spacious and clean, they could have dusted better, light bulbs had an inch of dust on them. Breakfast was ok. Typical hotels breakfast, fake eggs, great ham and pancakes.
Overall it was a great 2 night stay. Beds were comfy, and loved being on the beach. I would stay again."

"This was my third stay at the Clearwater and the things i love have remained the same...the smores on the beach at sunset, the pool and hot tub, but some things have changed. The staff are the same, but they are not as helpful or pleasant as they once were. Still, i would stay again. Hopefully they get new mattresses that dont have springs in my back next time."
"The staff was very nice, even though the original reviews said the hotel was recently updated we found the wallpaper falling off the walls, holes in the walls, and very limited outlets for charging. It was a bed to sleep in and clean. "
