"Grateful for the gal at the front desk allowing us to pay to check in early! We were very tired and arrived at 6am tried to kill time by going shopping but by 1 we definitely wanted to sleep and thankfully they had a room available. Fantastic service, great location. Clean room"

"I take my grandson down every year for him to go plane spotting. It’s a great location for this and we eat here as well. I think the food is a bit pricy for what it is and snacks are definitely a bit of a rip off. A bag of skittles, fruit pastilles and a small box of Pringles was £8.20."

"Hotel was very nice. Also had a very nice jazz bar. Only down side was we thought we were staying in the castle so we were ok taking a cab outside of town for it. When we got there we were staying in a hotel next to the castle and the castle was closed due to a wedding. Wasn’t ideal and the listing should be more clear, but the hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This may seem an expensive place to stay as it oozes quality and expenses, but think again. It is not cheap, but it is a hotel of the very finest quality backed by its facilities, its staff, and its fantastic grounds. Accessing Edinburgh is easy via the bus from the main road, or the park and ride site two miles away. After a busy day touring the city Dalmahoy is the perfect place to relax, unwind, recharge and repeat. If you play golf allow yourself time to play both the East and West Courses. The leisure facilities are second to none and there are several eating/drinking places on site. Looking forward to a return visit with/without a party of friends."
