It’s an older building with a modern twist. It’s in a great central location in the heart of Viejo San Juan. It was a relief to have the luxury of walking around the town and being able to take a break from the heat at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and the air conditioning was paramount. I’d definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Location is great and the staff was very accommodating. The rooftop bar is very nice - although the bar itself was closed the first two nights we were there. The courtyard is small, dark and uninviting. We had an inside room with a small window to the courtyard that's so high up that I could barely see anything. We enjoyed nices breakfasts at the nearby Hotel El Convento.

This was a great location in Old San Juan. Super walkable. Parking was difficult because the city was a bit busier that usual when we came in that night. Parked at a garage 15min away (a little up hill) but all good. Hotel was exactly was we needed for two days. I would flag that walls are thin so you hear everything. Wasn't super loud but if you are use to very quiet conditions, heads up. Being from NY it didn't bother us at all.

This hotel is either absolutely fantastic or absolutely horrible. It just depends on your type of visit to San Juan. If you are looking for a place in the center of the action... Look no further. Great location within walking distance of everything in Old Town. With a rooftop bar. If you are looking for a quiet spot to sleep... KEEP LOOKING! This ain't it. Right in the center of the action with no sound barrier between the bed and the busy road below or the hoppin' roof top bar above. Room was very comfortable and the staff was great though.

The property is in central Old San Juan, so great location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thought we were getting a suite that faced inside courtyard. Ended up with one on the streetside. Was the noisiest hotel we ever stayed at. Make sure to get inside room at check-in. Noise doesn't stop until early morning and started with construction noise before dawn.
