Convenient Location and Friendly Staff
The staff are really friendly and the location of this hostel is really close to the MTR and the shopping districts of Tsim Sha Tsui. A little difficult to get to from the airport by train but no problem by bus. The area is a little dodgy and there can be a lot of harassment from vendors and hawkers as you try to enter the building. The property has seen better days and needs a bit of maintenance but the basics are clean enough. If you're a single bloke and only looking for a place to store your bags and crash at night then this is a good place. For anyone else I would avoid.

Friendly staff inside but terrible getting in.
Getting in to the building was a nasty experience. Indian hawkers at the door wanting fights for not choosing their friend's friends' apartment in the same building. i told one to leave me alone and then 3 or more surrounded me. I will never stay in that building again. NEVER. The Room: Very friendly staff member. Obliging to help in any way he could. Room is super small. Have stayed in larger rooms in the same building. Bed was not clean, toe nails complimentary. (not mine). Toilet guaranteed to be clean as shower is over the toilet. Shower with ever hot water, super hot can burn. View, non existent. Access via elevator. Only one elevator and there is a need to queue up for it. Stairs are disgusting but quicker. Raw faeces in the stairwell.

Good location
Our two-bed room is spacious which we have space to open our suitcase. The bathroom is too small. Can not take long shower because the drainage is too slow. There's window in the room but the smell of the cooking can be quite strong. The staff is very pleasant. She does her best. The building of this hotel is very convenient for transportation, shopping and eating.

The only thing good about this place is the location. Short walk away from Victoria Harbor and shopping. The shower/bathroom was absolutely disgusting. If you`re looking for a cheap place in a good location then you found it.

We had a good evening experience. THey Erne considerate to the fac that we had a baby with us, so they gave us a room with two large beds. Thank you. The hotel was really close to everything's downtown.

Convenient but Noisy Hostel
Cons 1. Extreme noise: All conversations from the reception and people walking in the hallway are very audible. Shower and every water access from your neighbors are also very loud. Staff knocks on the door almost every morning to check your presence which I think is very disrespectful. Sleeping is near to impossible, something to consider if you are a light sleeper. 2. No windows. 3. Broken safe. Pros: 1. Centrally located. 2. Free wi fi. 3. Free water but just hot water.

Couldn't sleep well because the bed was so itchy. The toilet is too small. There's a dripping in the ceiling. Someone is sleeping in the lobby every night.

Extremely Great Budget Hotel/Hostel
Don't freak out with Chung King Mansion. It is actually very safe. Once you are inside the hotel, it's a different world. For the price, it's a great deal and you can't beat the location. My room is very clean, strong AC, everything works. The bed is a little hard (all Asian beds are) which I prefer. For great dining experience, go across Nathan Road to Lock Road (parallel road) and look for Macau Restaurant. Every dish is awesome and cheap.

Long wait for nothing
I got to the guest house and had to wait 15 minutes for a worker to show up and let me in. Then I spent 30 minutes waiting for him to check me in. Turned out they didn't have a room for me, even though I had already paid. The only good thing was the guest house worker did find me another room at another guest house. (Which was terrible) no idea if my room would have been better at Kamal or not. Will never try to stay there again.

El escusado estaba roto, el cuarto muy chico a comparecion de otros hoteles en los que estuvimos en Hong Kong, al llegar cancelaon la habitación por qué no tenían asi que nos dieron cualquier cuarto que todo el tiempo olí a curry, esta muy bien ubicado pero si fue el peor en el que estuvimos en Asia
