The management is very unreasonable. Although I pre-paid for the stay in full, they insisted I also pre-pay the city tax in order to get the access code to the room. It was only 4 euros per day and there is no way to pay at the property upon arrival. I have been traveling around Italy and at other hotels/Airbnb, I paid this tax upon check-out, but Fenice Studios required the payment before arrival. This does not make sense (in my opinion) and needs to be reconsidered as Venice can be quite stressful as it is for first time travelers and hotels should prioritize the guests convenience. Also, in the pictures, the bathroom looks extremely big, but in reality it is not.

El cuarto es cómodo , perfectamente equipado, aunque la cafetera no funciona bien. El aire acondicionado estaba perfecto. A 10 min caminando de Piazza San Marcos , en un área tranquila y con locales comerciales. El staff nos brindó muchos datos de restaurantes y datos de la ciudad. Nos gustó mucho la elección !
