10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the facilities were great, and the food was good and reasonably priced. The only area that could be improved is the housekeeping, as the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again."

8/10 Good
"As a whole the place was amazing! Staff were helpful n friendly, activities for children and a very beautiful place all round. The only thing I'd say was the dinner wasn't nice at all, breakfast was great and food by the pool restaurant at lunch was very nice but the dinner was very disappointing. I'd definitely recommend people/families to come to this resort as we really had a great time, close to Aqualand and other attractions. Location was perfect. I'd like to thank the staff that helped us along the way and Kim at the reception desk. Will definitely be back!!! Gracias!!"

Hotel Riu Vistamar - All Inclusive

Hotel Riu Vistamar - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Santa Lucia

  1. Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Santa Lucia on a budget can be a delightful experience, especially in May, June, and September, when hotels offer lower prices. For those keen on exploring the rich history, iconic landmarks, and vibrant cultural attractions — including family-friendly, sports, beach, romantic, business, shopping, dining, islands, windsurfing, and surfing spots — a stay of at least 5 to 6 days is recommended. This period is ideal for enjoying affordable adventures and great value for money, as prices may drop during these months.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Santa Lucia, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you're more likely to see discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app may assist you in comparing hotel prices and amenities, so you can make informed decisions. This way, you'll be promptly notified of any price drops or available rooms for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay at a hotel in Santa Lucia. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Santa Lucia's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often exceptional value for money to be had. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
