8/10 Good
"Overall this property was almost excellent. We loved its location: a 5-minute walk to a major train station, Sloderdijk, where from there it was a 5-minute ride to Amsterdam Centraal! Our room was very spacious compared to most European rooms, modern, and clean. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. There was also a small kitchen in the room that helped with storing food and using dishes. My only two complaints are 1) the air-conditioning in our room was not properly working. We had to get a tall fan from the front desk to adequately cool our room. 2) There was only one liquid dispenser in the shower. It was listed as a combined shampoo/conditioner/body wash soap. Typically in most nice hotels, there are three separate liquid dispensers for those. Also, I’m allergic to zinc and after a few days using their soap, I developed a rash around my hands, feet, arms, and back. I’m not sure if their soap contains zinc, but if it does, I strongly recommend the hotel to stop using it. With the hotel advertised as a 4-star hotel, these things should not be issues so I’m bringing them up here only because they’re reasonable and for awareness. With some easy adjustments to fix those things mentioned above, this is a hotel worth staying in. Definitely a good value overall."

"A twenty minute walk into the city but worth being in this quiet location . A few minutes walk to supermarket and restaurant a slower pace than the city . Nice breakfast and views out into the channel . The room had great amenities to eat in if preferred. Clean pleasant staff thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return"

"I’ve stayed here a couple times over the last few months and the most recent stay was significantly better than the previous stay based primarily on room size and cleanliness. The most basic room is the size of shoebox and was absolutely filthy. Most recent stay, I got a bigger room and it was very comfortable and would stay there again at the given price point. Solid location in the scheme of things. Nothing spectacular but gets the job done for a couple nights."

10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful & friendly staff at this hotel. We stayed for the Dutch GP weekend and the location was super convenient for getting the train from the airport and to Zandvoort. We were able to pre-order breakfast in a bag to take with us for the early starts. Beds are comfortable, with a choice of pillows. Plenty of hot water for showers. Nice bar area where we were able to chat to fellow race fans from around the world in the evenings. A short train ride into Amsterdam Centraal for sightseeing plus rail & tram connections to other places. There is a restaurant below the hotel and you can order from them for room service as well. The hotel reception has a small shopping area for essentials, snacks & souvenirs but there is also a Spar right next to the hotel for other purchases."
