Set in one of Monterey’s most unique neighborhoods, this 937-square-foot bungalow is just one block from Del Monte Beach. A one-way street leads up and around a hill with homes lining streets in between, so through traffic is minimal. Walls washed in soft blues and sandy-toned wood floors give this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home a decidedly beach vibe.
The rooms of this charming bungalow are arranged in a U-shape, centered around a covered courtyard patio that is accessed from the living room, kitchen/dining room and master bedroom.

A hallway leads to 2 of the home’s bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed, nightstands with lamps, a dresser, large closet and ceiling fan/light. Ample windows invite in the natural light.
Bathrooms are conveniently located to all the bedrooms. A cleverly laid out and efficient design includes a half-bath with commode, vanity and sink at each end, with a shared shower-over-tub in the center. Doors at each of the entrances can be closed to ensure privacy.
The roomy master bedroom opens onto the second half-bath. The lovely space features a queen bed with nightstands and lamps on either side, dresser, 55” HDTV, closet and sliding glass doors that open onto the covered patio.
There’s definitely a retro feel to the kitchen, equipped with a vintage 4-burner Wedgewood gas stove, Kenmore refrigerator/freezer, Bosch dishwasher, microwave and all the small appliances you’ll need for a comfortable stay.
A wood dining table with 4 chairs and a bench seats 6 and is located conveniently between the kitchen and sliding glass doors that lead to the patio. Here, you’ll find a Weber grill plumbed with natural gas and comfortable seating that provides a shaded spot for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fenced in property offers a variety of other sitting spots on the elongated cement patio that stretches around the back of the home.
Upon your arrival, you’ll find a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and a supply of coffee, tea and condiments for the first morning. A welcome book and information on local attractions and activities provide all the details. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available if you need assistance.
The attached garage houses the washer and dryer and has ample room for one car. Driveway parking for one car and on street parking is available.
Families with young children will love the close proximity to a small playground just steps away. This property is a short stroll to Del Monte Beach that stretches for miles in both directions.
