The location was decent (aside from being neighbours with the provincial penitentiary…). The building needs a thorough deep clean. It was a bit grungy all around. We thought about using the pool, but after taking a peek, changed our minds. The humidity made the room feel pretty damp. The mattress was squishy and kinda uncomfortable. We had our basic needs met and I suppose you “get what you pay for” - it was a budget rate for a budget hotel. We just needed a place to rest and that’s what we got - no fancy bells and whistles, that’s for sure.

Front desk area was not well cleaned, nor were the hallways or the elevator alcoves. Key card needed to be reprogrammed before room could be accessed. Only one towel provided in bathroom. Checkout on Expedia listed as noon, but housekeeping knocked on door at 11am, then front desk called to tell us to leave. Would not stay again.

We ended up booking a room for 4 of us, but ended up with one bed. I was hoping there would have been a couch like in the picture but there wasn’t. The had no rollaway beds or extra pillows or blankets. My kids slept on the floor. I was grossed out by the carpet in the rooms Continental breakfast has pancakes, hard boiled eggs, toast, juice etc however there was a local person sleeping inside the continental breakfast room in a chair. There’s a sign in hotel saying they’ve had a high volume of theft so make sure nothing is visible in your car. Pool was alright-water wasn’t the cleanest but pool water was warm. Hot tub was only luke warm. Kids had fun though. Would I go back? Probably not.
