The Hyde offers a great view of the coast at their roof top dining bar and pool side, the staff make you feel like family and you can not beat the location local services and safe community. as is in any stay sometimes there are challenges I found management quick to respond and they went above beyond to give us an amazing stay. The morning buffet is great with the mainstay of most breakfast wants and order up eggs in almost any style. Lunch on the rooftop gives a great break and dinners and a magical sunset as you watch the paragliders go by.

Everything was amazing. First time in Cape Town. They explained everything, breakfast was good. I woke late & they made us breakfast still so that was good. They also have a backup generator which is a great factor because most hotels though. They are so hooked us up on excursions and got transportation to pick us up which was well organised. Ladies are definitely fantastic, they deafly broke things down and help me understand. I will recommend this to all travellers that like comfortable accommodations at affordable price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hyde All-Suite Hotel in Cape Town, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel is located in a great area, close to many shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms at The Hyde are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. The hotel also has a fantastic rooftop pool and lounge area, perfect for enjoying a drink and soaking up the stunning views of Table Mountain and the surrounding cityscape. I highly recommend The Hyde All-Suite Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Cape Town. I will be returning on my next trip to this beautiful city!

I can't rave about this property enough. We spent the last night of our Cape Town holiday here and it was exactly what we needed to relax after very touristy days. We were greeted by Ashley and receptionist Susan, customer service was beyond expectation. The room was phenomenal and kids play area was exactly what we needed. Susan arranged Portia to babysit *Families she is amazing and my husband and I got to go for child free dinner and my kids loved her. We even managed a late check out as we had 9pm flight but got use of the pool for the remainder of the day and bothered Ashley constantly while we went back and forth to the luggage room. Will recommend to anyone and will definitely be our hotel of choice for all future CT trips. Great Staff, everyone was so friendly and rooms and facilities were amazing. 15 out of 10

Terrible! Never again!

I stay two days, with no cold water. May work of the suite I stayed was badly done. Humidity in bathroom, with no ventilation. Falling apart tiles… Loud noise in the morning daily starts at 7:30… the manager at hotel offers no help nor flexibility to client needs. Very bad client service. It dose not deserve to have a star! Rooms are Non-refundable and no warning of on going construction mentioned at booking nor at check in. Only a paper found when enter the room which is toooo late already. I am adding the photo of wall in bathroom. Notice of construction and the managers name and phone no here. I am a frequent business traveler and this is definitely the very worst customer service I have ever felt with.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Hotel. On the bright side - location was good, the room big and staff friendly. But the room especially the floor were not clean (even after I asked to clean the floor so our daughter can crawl there). There is no AC in the bedroom only living room. It was extremly loud. I don't know where the noise was coming from. All in all we did not enjoy our stay and definitely not for the price we paid.

The location and the hotel do not complement each other. The room rate we paid and what we experienced was 4/10 in terms of the hospitality due to following; 1. The room cleaning was terrible. We had to buy a disinfectant (Domestos) to kill the smell in the bathroom of which the front office team was notified. 2. The noisy music from the breakfast bay in the morning was disturbing. 3. The breakfast was basic and there is an additional cost for Cappuccino and other hot beverages.

Safety concerns and noisy

I recently stayed here for 3 nights and had an extremely disappointing experience. My room was directly below the rooftop bar and kitchen, and the noise was unbearable throughout the night. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep with the constant clattering and banging from above. At check in I asked if the room was quiet as I have 2 small children and was told it was. There was constant clanging of plates and cutlery in the kitchen which spilled over into the stairwell. At 22:00 when my kids had been kept up for 2.5 hours I called reception and was told it was a once off in preparation for an event the following day. Unfortunately this was a fabrication and the noise was repeated for the remaining two nights. Upon discussing this with he general manager, he was rude, dismissive and defensive at times, knowing full well that they were undermining their customers comfort for the convenience of their staff. Their lack of honesty and transparency was very frustrating, and from my experience it seems to stem from the top, which then cultivates this attitude down the ranks. Additionally, I was shocked to find that the emergency escape stairwells were blocked with a "no entry" chain, a green bin, and cushions that also hid the safety signage. This is a serious safety hazard and completely unacceptable. They also wedge fire doors (designed to shut automatically) open, which is an additional and quite concerning

Vill ge högsta betyget till receptionen och frukostpersonalen. De var serviceminded, trevliga och alltid med ett leende på läpparna. Housekeeping och städningen vill jag ge lägsta betyg. Det var så smutsigt på golvet i rummet att våra vita strumpor blev helt svarta. Dessutom så skar housekeeping ner på antalet handdukar varje dag. Vilket gjorde att vi fick säga till om att få fler handdukar flera gånger. Sist men inte minst varför jag är besviken var att en dag när vi hade varit på utflykt hela dagen och kom hem så stod dörren öppen .housekeeping hade alltså glömt att stänga dörren till vårt rum där alla våra saker låg framme. Otroligt besviken rörande detta. Blev heller inte kompenserad på något sätt. Hotellet i sig är ganska litet och trevligt. Hotellrummet var rymligt och fint men smutsigt golv. Poolen nyttjade vi inte pga vädret. Restaurangen på toppen helt okej. Kändes lite B när man blir ombedd att hälla upp sitt vin själv.
