Review - pros and cons
The Westin Grand Berlin has a few strong points: the renovated rooms and bathrooms are modern and comfortable, the location is excellent, and the staff in the breakfast area are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, these positives were overshadowed by several shortcomings. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, the toiletries provided were of low quality, and the breakfast experience was disappointing. The food was of poor quality, the selection was limited, and cleanliness throughout the breakfast area left much to be desired. Overall, while the hotel has potential, significant improvements are needed in housekeeping, breakfast quality, and hygiene to meet the standards expected from a property of this caliber.

Hot - temperature and add ons!
Lovely hotel and modern rooms. But it's far too hot and they switch the air conditioning off in winter. This makes sleeping uncomfortable. I asked them but they couldn't do anything. In a premium hotel I think you should be able to control the heating in your room. Other gripe is breakfast at over €30 each and €80 to check in 1.5 hours early also disappointing. I would suggest avoiding.

I had a wonderful time in a clean and comfortable hotel. The location is excellent for touring Berlin. The restaurant is expensive but expected, given that this hotel is lovely. I had breakfast one morning, and this was excellent.

Loved the Westin! The rooms where clean, the beds very comfy, the bathroom was great, and the amentities made staying there easy. In terms of price, I have stayed in much, much worse for more money. If you can swing the extra cost, I would recommend it as you will wake up feeling ready for your day in Berlin!
