"I wouldn’t give this hotel a 4-star rating and as a 3-star it was adequate but too expensive. We booked a junior suite and asked for a room on a higher floor but instead were assigned a cramped room on the 1st floor with a small shower for clients with mobility impairment. After some assertive persuasion we got a room on a 2nd floor which was more spatious and bright but with 2 twin beds instead of a queen bed. We also didn’t get a parking spot even though we arrived before noon and there were empty spots. On a positive note breakfast buffet had plenty of fruits, eggs and cheese and a few versions of egg dishes. Pancakes were also tasty. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and blackout curtains were adequate."

"Our stay Eira do Serrado Hotel & SPA was amazing. It was our final lodgings after 8 days on the island and was the perfect way to end out trip. The view are spectacular, super friendly and helpful staff and the restaurants food was incredible! We will definitely be back the next time we have a chance to visit Madeira!"

"The location was ideal. We stayed in three places in Madeira and this was our favourite. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are quite small. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked well. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the bay which was nice. Breakfast was good and is served on the roof so you can enjoy the view. Parking is nearby at a busy public lot. Guys hang out there to assist you in finding a spot. Just have to be patient and give them a tip! "
