"I thought it was great and I especially love the personal touches with the text to check in. You’re responsive. Even left my sneakers in the room and somebody put them aside for me based on a quick text! Only complaint is the coffee pot was sort of sad / poor quality. Otherwise great and I will return."

"Hotel has the potential to be great however the staff and the conditions of the cleanliness of the hotel prevent this. Staff looks miserable, not approachable or friendly. Attempted to say hi while walking past, and greeted with a stare and silence. We had a double queen room, one bed was made daily, the other was not. Room wasn't vacuumed during our stay. Towels were changed out daily but no cleaning. Our balcony had beer cans and garbage upon arrival ( not our garbage ) and still there at departure, we had asked the cleaners to remove it, and was told where the garbage can was so that we could remove the garbage on our own. The amount of dust and dirt in the stairwells was alarming. Staff threatens fines of $500.00 for smoking of any kind inside property or on the balconies however the hotel smelled heavily of weed and smoke. When brought to attention of staff, they shrug it off and say "people will do what they want to do". Kids were staying at this hotel for an event, and no one cared or did anything about the smell. At check in, staff mention for balcony rooms, there are cameras to make sure no one is smoking and continue to threaten fines. When asked if the cameras look directly into the room due to the fact they are watching the balconies, staff state "they will ask the manager". The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors alarms, conversations, hair dryers, walking.... you hear it all. We did not complete our stay. "

"I mean, it’s a Gaylord Resort so you know it’s going to be impressive & have everything! This was our first actual stay at the hotel [March] but we’ve visited 2 times before around Christmas. At Christmas, visiting is SOOOOO worth it! The hotel is decked out for the holidays like you’ve never seen! In March, we were less impressed. Several of the coffee spots & shops were closed. Staff were not helpful in directing us to what actually was open. There was a huge conference kicking off the same night we arrived & the bars/restaurants were not staffed to handle the volume of people. Our room was just ok. It’s obvious how much traffic the hotel gets… our room was really roughed up around the edges. We saw the Opry show that night… it’s really convenient walking to/from the Gaylord from the Opry. That said, for the cost & the volume of lodging available in Nashville, I would not choose to stay at the Gaylord again. If you’re visiting the Opry, get an Uber to the Gaylord at 4P, grab a drink & explore the hotel, walk over to the Opry House at 6P and walk back to the Gaylord after the show for a post-show drink & to avoid the heavy vehicle traffic & Uber surge pricing before & after the shows. "

"Hotel concierge was too busy talking into his phone to get me the bag he was holding for me, just feet away. He just kept jabbering in Indian, I believe, and kept asking me to “wait a second.” Well, I waited many seconds, but I needed to get to the airport. Finally, I screamed, “Give me my bag!” He did, but then told me the next airport shuttle was a 45-minute wait despite it being advertised as every 30 minutes. I called an Uber. I will never book there again. 😜"
