Great location in Asakusa, close to lots of shops, the market and a couple of train stations. The hotel itself is looking pretty tired and dated. It did come with a free buffet breakfast - which was just ok. Some tasty bits, but certainly nothing fancy. But we loved Asakusa. Great vibe with lots to do.

Second time in Tokyo and I decided to stay in Asakusa because a friend of mine was in the area. Chose the Asakusa Central Hotel and I could not have been happier. The area itself is incredible - has a great balance of quiet and busy areas (compared to an area like Shinjuku, or Shibuya). The hotel itself was great. Staff were friendly. Hotels were clean. And a 5-10 min walk from the train station. Would definitely stay again.

The room is very old and the lighting is very dim There are no sockets next to the bed, the only socket is next to the table and only one plug can be plugged in at a time There was still dirt in the hair dryer, which scared me to death.
