8/10 Very good

We wanted somewhere near the Excel Centre and this hotel suited us fine. It was clean and comfortable with few frills but the staff were pleasant and there was more atmosphere than in many hotels of its type. The evening meal menu was pretty run of the mill, so you might want to eat before arriving, but the staff member on duty was particularly helpful.

8/10 Very good

I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room it smelt really nice when we walked in which I also liked. The only thing was there was some scum around the bottom of the shower on the outside underneath the sink, only noticeable really when you sit on the toilet. We didn’t have breakfast as £16 for breakfast was too expensive really. However I will definitely book again as I had a really good nights sleep and was really happy with the place.

6/10 Good

Overall the stay was fine. I did have a couple of issues though - the TV wasn't working properly, there was a flickering that kept on happening. The socket by the bed wasn't working and the light switches by the bed were sticky. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

10/10 Exceptional

Came for MCM comic con - it was well placed at just a 10 minute walk from the back exit of the excel centre. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had the most delicious air con which was needed during a heatwave! There was a 24hr bar which meant that you could pop down and grab a cold drink/snack if you needed to as well. Would definitely rebook!
