Unacceptable
Well I cannot really give my impression of the room and hotel itselves, because I wasn't even in !
I made the reservation online about one month ago before my arrival, and I mentioned that I will arrived very late at night (between 11:30 pm and midnight, because my plane from Dublin landed at Liverpool airport at 11pm). I know that the last check in is around 7:30 pm so that's why I advised them in advance.
The problem is... well nobody was here when I arrived in front of the Banjo : lights out inside, doors locked and the main phone number of the hotel keep ringing. I came by taxi, so I haven't any choice that reserve any room in premier inn near the airport (hopefully they have one available but it cost me £72).
Now I am still asking the staff to make a refund of my booking, but there is no answer for the moment. That is unacceptable, they just sent me another phone number that I was supposed to call once I am off the aiport, but I received it too late anyway.
Next time, I wouldn't choose a cheapo hotel like this one without being sure that somebody could open the main entrance, even in the middle of the night.
