The interior decor was pleasant enough. The entrance to the hotel area is separate to the pub. The window in the door is severely cracked and needs replacing. The tiling throughout and all wooden staircases reminded us of a Greek hotel. Room was fine, no window but there was a skylight letting in some light. Ensuite was clean and shower gel was provided. Tea, coffee, cereal and milk was provided. Milk was stored in a small fridge under the desk.
There was one issue, the heat. The room had got unbearably hot by the time we returned later that night. There was no working thermostat and no windows to open. Undoubtedly the fridge was adding to the heat in the room. We resorted to wedging the door of the room open for an hour or so to allow cool air from the corridor to cool the room slightly. We'd have said something in the morning but the pub was shut and keys were dropped into a letterbox for checking out.
