Great chicago choice ! Location! pretty close to the park, the lake and the river— chicago trifecta. Pool was really excellent urban retreat. Building itself is beautiful architecture… easy to spot. Gym was extra good for a hotel gym. Staff A+++ shout out Daniel. Found it to be good value. Being picky cons- elevators were a little slow, no mini fridge.

I loved our stay at Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago. The indoor pool was understandably crowded during a lightning storm, but the facilities were otherwise fantastic. Swimming in the outdoor pool among the skyscrapers was fascinating. The room and staff were all helpful and accommodating. Would love to stay again some time!

Pool was not heated and very shallow- only 4 feet and small. Placed on the side of building next to fire station. A little loud. View blocked by buildings. Great location.

I am from the Chicagoland area and I am in the city often. I did not know this hotel even existed. My two four-year olds and I had a GREAT time, especially because of the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub situation! What a blast! The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, helpful, or friendly. One young man was especially happy to secure our bags for us houses earlier than check-in. When we came back, he recognized us Anna before we could turn around, he had our bags for us. Everyone was that nice. My only reason for four stars rather than five is that the mini-bar gave us pause. We were warned that even touching it sets off a motion detector Anna we could get charged for opening the door. Scary! I’d rather have a mini fridge and get my own snacks. Anyway, the room was just right and the sparkly floor in its hallway and bathroom was very adorable. The hotel is in a convenient location. Except for a mistake in my check-in date and getting charged for an extra night by Expedia/Hotels.com, all around a great stay. Luxurious. Excellent hotel restaurant, too.

Great location with spacious rooms for a large city. Always could get a cab outside the hotel. Our 7 year old enjoyed the short walk to Maggie Daley Park (bring bug spray in the summer) and to the River Walk. The outdoor pool was very nice after a day of sightseeing. Suggest bringing a small cooler and travel mugs if you plan to spend more than an our at the pool. There is a CVS right next to the hotel that also sells beer wine, and hard alcohol so stock up on that and snacks since a small stack of Pringles in the room is $10. No issue requesting a mini fridge. One negative- our room faced the river and was next to a fire house. Even though we were on thr 13th floor you still heard the noise from it, which was often around 6am.

The elevator floor was so dirty the entire weekend. It looked as though it had not been vacuumed in months. Speaking of the elevator, there was a consistent squeal upon movement up and down. I booked this hotel, because it advertised a fitness center and indoor/ pool, only to arrive and be told that there is a $35 daily amenity use charge - so the fitness center is not included in the standard hotel rate. The outdoor terrace deck was not well maintained. The furniture was old and dirty. The rooms were clean and the location was great. However, the pricing is beyond overpriced for the poor quality. This is the first and last time staying at this hotel.
