Bali Beach Hotel
"We had a fantastic 8 night stay at the Bali Beach Hotel. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Nothing was an issue. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices and was great quality. We were able to use the pool and shower facilities in our last day which was perfect for our late flight. We highly recommend the hotel."
The Sankara Resort & Spa
"Stayed here for 5 nights and I’m amazed at how beautiful this hotel is!! The staff were absolutely amazing and super welcoming and helpful!! Location is great, had no issues getting to my destinations around Ubud. The breakfast was amazing and so fresh unlike any other hotel I have been to. I would definitely come back here and once again thank you so much to the incredible staff!!"
Prama Sanur Beach Bali
"The staff, amazing and friendly service."
SereS Springs Resort & Spa Singakerta
"Wonderful place, lovely people. Room was great, being able to walk out and into the pool was fab. All the staff are wonderful people, really friendly and helpful."
Hyatt Regency Bali

Maya Sanur Resort & Spa
"Excellent service. Highly recommended!"
Sanur Resort Watujimbar
"Location is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and coffee shops Not my favorite spot. Crowded and was a good stop for one night. We thought the beach was close but it took awhile to walk to it. They do have a golf cart that can take you to the beach. I rather stay some place next time closer to the beach. I felt boxed in by the hotel. It is a good value for the room."
Griya Santrian a Beach Resort & Spa
"Everything was brilliant. Was disappointed the swim-up bar was closed for renovations. That was one of the main reasons I booked that resort. Recommend the resort and will visit again."
Alaya Resort Ubud
"This was our first time in Bali and Ubud, and Alaya was a great base for exploring. The location is very central, with lots of restaurants, cafés, shops and spas within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is clean, modern and set in beautiful, lush surroundings. It also isn’t a huge resort, which we liked, as it was quick and easy to get back to the room or head out again. The air conditioning in our room was strong and worked really well. The staff were consistently friendly, and the traffic manager at the front was particularly helpful with crossing the busy road and helping taxis get in and out. There were a few things that stopped it feeling truly five-star for us. Check-in was quite lengthy after a long day of travelling, and there was some early-morning noise from sweeping outside the room and the shower/plumbing. Housekeeping also came at around 8am on our first morning. We hadn’t put the bamboo privacy sign out, which was our oversight, but having only checked in the night before, a slightly later visit would have been appreciated. Breakfast was included and was okay, but portions were small and some basics, such as sugar for tea and coffee, were missing. There are lots of excellent cafés nearby, which we preferred. The gym is very small and limited, so we chose to train elsewhere in Ubud, which was easy to do. We didn’t use the pool or spa, so can’t comment on those. Overall, a beautiful, well-located hotel with lovely staff, but not quite five-star by Weste"

For those looking to enjoy the picturesque scenery and immerse themselves in the local culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows for ample time to explore the charming countryside, visit historic landmarks, and discover the serene gardens and walking paths that showcase the area's natural beauty. With its affordable accommodations and rich cultural experiences, Sidemen offers great value for money for travellers seeking a memorable escape.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Sidemen may discover great opportunities on Hotels.com by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where discounted rates for hotels might be available close to their travel date. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, they're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app may help travellers compare hotel prices and amenities should rooms become available or prices drop, ensuring they stay informed about potential savings.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Sidemen hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and may sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if the price is on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you find a potentially better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with elevated costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you intend to visit. You could also look into independent hotels located further out, as these are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
