The hotel is brand new and everything is spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. We had a ground floor suite with terrace and the location was perfect.
Our suite was spacious and had everything we needed and more. This included: reasonably powerful hairdryer, shower gel, cutlery, plates, bowls and a variety of glasses; fridge, freezer, hob, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine!
Tip: the little shop on the ground floor sells individual dishwasher tablets and washing powder.
The bed was super comfortable and details such as reading lights, clothing hangers and a larger than average wardrobe were very nice touches.
I don’t know if it is because my partner is Turkish but I found the reception staff to be cold and unfriendly. They claimed not to speak English until the bill was due and then it was perfect. We were not told anything about the hotel during check in, including breakfast which I thought was a basic requirement of a hotel reception?
The spa was great - the sauna, steam room and Turkish hamman are free to use … make sure you visit! We each had a massage and although nothing special, it was a nice way to spend an hour. Very expensive though! Even after negotiation.
We stayed in mid October so the pool was way too cold for me but was a beautiful focal point. The bar was absolutely dead, probably because the drinks are priced like the bar is in prime London or New York. The prices are eye watering - use the supermarkets nearby!
