This motel is under new management, and when I arrived, there were signs posted in the office saying, "sorry, no pets". This was a concern to me because I specifically chose this motel because the listing on the website said that pets were allowed for a fee. Fortunately the person who checked me in indicated that while they are transitioning to "no pets", they make exceptions because, right now, the online listings do say that they're pet friendly. This review is not a complaint, nor a negative statement - to the contrary - they allowed my pet to stay for a nominal fee like any other pet-friendly establishment. I'm writing this simply to notify anyone who reads it that, at some point in the future, their pet policy is likely to change.

Motel was ok decent location had issue with heating. Went to front desk to ask how to turn up the heat was to close windows as letting in fresh air and they would turn up the heat. Closed window still cold in the room.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed here for a little weekend getaway and for the price I can’t complain. Front desk was very friendly and the room was renovated recently but we found an empty Pepsi bottle by the bed that wasn't ours and a dried out fruit pit. The shower also had a lot of mildew. It was relatively quiet and a great location though. Lots of places to eat!

Fantastic experience! Couldn’t have asked for more. Needed a place to rest my head. This checked that box. Owner upgraded me to a king bed room without any additional charge. Cleared the spot in front of my room so that I’d be able to park there. Room clean. Bed comfy. Nothing more needed!

I just needed a clean bed for one night. This was provided. As per other reviews, the only thing i noticed upon entering was the smell in the room. Although the windows were open it smelled as if someone may have been smoking in there at some point. The bed sheets did not have the smell. Just the air in the room.

This is a great example of function over form. The room was cheap & clean with no frills, and was a great overnight pitstop as we traversed through Ontario.
