Amari Vientiane Laos
"Concerning the maintenance of the room, past experience was great but in this booking for 2 twins river view which i paid. My colleague was given a room (529) that has smell of cigarettes smoke usage. The first attempt to switch was not possible according to front desk person who claimed no room available. I had to request a supervisor to intervene to made switch possible for my colleague. I hope this is not a standard of a high status hotel which i frequently used when i am in Vientiane"

Eastin Hotel Vientiane
"Un peu à l’écart des activités, mais les navettes offertes et la facilité d’avoir un taxi facilitent la découverte de Vientiane. Premier déjeuner a été décevant, mais la deuxième matinée, il a dépassé nos attentes. La note 4 refléte le manque de constance. L’équipe du buffet a été très sympathique!"

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days provides great value for money, allowing visitors to explore the city's key landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions. During your visit, make sure to experience the rich tapestry of local temples, monuments, and quaint cafes, as well as other heritage and sightseeing tours that highlight the city’s vibrant history and culture.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Vientiane, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay informed about flash sales and special last-minute promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options. With these features, you'll be promptly notified of any changes in availability or price drops, making your last-minute getaway easier to book.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Vientiane. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personal touch and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Vientiane's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. If you’re keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even nearby towns that are not as well-known, you’ll often find excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
