Learn more about Falmouth
Bicycling the Shining Sea Bikeway offers ocean views that explain why Cape Cod inspires such fierce loyalty among visitors. In Woods Hole, scientists at the Oceanographic Institution study the mysteries of the deep while you contemplate seafood at waterfront restaurants. Catch the Island Queen Ferry for a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, where gingerbread cottages await. Old Silver Beach provides perfect swimming conditions with warm water that feels almost un-New England. The historic Nobska Lighthouse stands sentinel over Vineyard Sound, while city centre Falmouth's Main Street mixes sea captain's homes with shops selling maritime treasures. Come autumn, the crowds thin but the charm remains as cranberry bogs turn crimson across the landscape.

"fantastic place to stay!"
Shore Haven Inn
"The Shore Haven is beautiful. It is newly renovated and the design is beachy and classic. The bed was super comfortable. Continental breakfast was healthy and just enough options. The location is just perfect! Steps from the beach and close to Main Street. Having the pool is a great amenity as well. Kristen was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will be back!"
Falmouth Tides
"Really great to be right on the beach. Beautiful setting. But the beach and in water has lots of rocks. Difficult to walk through or stroll on the beach. But nice when just laying on a chaise. (provided by hotel) Room is very nice and clean. Beds very good. Wonderful to have our dog with us. Staff was having some turnover during the stay. The first day a bit chaotic. They don't provide full view photos of rooms on the website(s) so we couldn't get a handle on size beforehand. In the end, the bedroom was a good size. But not one photo of bathroom. (I've never seen this missing in any other hotels on internet) The bathroom is smaller than expected, but nice and clean and worked well. Everything in room seems updated. Just to know and plan - there isn't a restaurant or food setting. There is a truck in the lot that sells coffee, beverages and pastries. There is a rooftop with furniture on the two level hotel overlooking ocean. It was a full moon. Very nice aspect. This is a very expensive hotel stay."
Town & Beach Motel
"It was the second time we’ve stayed there. Very nice, cozy room, and helpful front desk staff. Convenient to beach and Main Street. Plan to stay again for our next trip to the Cape."
Frederick William House
"Great location , loved the bike path behind the property!"
InnSeason Resorts HarborWalk
"Great location. We had a club queen room, which was updated nicely. Room was good size, and kitchenette was a bonus. Very clean!"
