This is rated as a 4.5 star on hotels.com. It is more like a 2.5 star. Booked a room for one night. The AC was broken so they stuck a window unit in the room. The exhaust fan cover in the restroom was missing so there was a hole in the ceiling. The shower head sprayed a straight stream, not a spray. The internet didn't work so the TV did not work as it is a streaming setup. Was charged a $30 resort fee. The place is not a resort and I am not sure what this charge is for. Was also charged a $30 property fee. Not sure what this was for either. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is historical so it’s old. Our room was very dark and had a smell of burnt wood. If you’re staying here ask to be in a room that has a door right to the outside. The breakfast was wonderful. The area is sketchy. We brought bikes and were told by some locals to not leave our bikes out as they will get stolen or parts will be removed.

Great location - walkable to all best restaurants and downtown. Had some issues with housekeeping (had to ask for some items) but overall no issues. Great breakfast daily! The “snacks” advertised as “available all day” consisted of granola bars available only 2 of the 5 days we stayed. The bar was closed - apparently due to a recent break-in.
