My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Inn at Vanessie. The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk to the center of the "Old Town" of Santa Fe. We happened to pick a week that featured two festivals and a parade. The hotel itself provides breakfast however we strongly recommend a restaurant across the street for a great breakfast/lunch (Mille) I do want to note that when we checked into our room, we found that the overhead lights in the main room were not working and the shower head leaked to the point that it was really functional. We let the management know and they had it fixed the same day, well done!

Great location- close walk to the plaza and to the Rail yard. Good parking, quiet and there is a lounge to hang out in. Our room had a court yard and an anteroom. The bathroom probably could be updated. Our friends’s rooms bathrooms were more updated so ask for a more modern bathroom.

This is rated as a 4.5 star on hotels.com. It is more like a 2.5 star. Booked a room for one night. The AC was broken so they stuck a window unit in the room. The exhaust fan cover in the restroom was missing so there was a hole in the ceiling. The shower head sprayed a straight stream, not a spray. The internet didn't work so the TV did not work as it is a streaming setup. Was charged a $30 resort fee. The place is not a resort and I am not sure what this charge is for. Was also charged a $30 property fee. Not sure what this was for either. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is historical so it’s old. Our room was very dark and had a smell of burnt wood. If you’re staying here ask to be in a room that has a door right to the outside. The breakfast was wonderful. The area is sketchy. We brought bikes and were told by some locals to not leave our bikes out as they will get stolen or parts will be removed.

The staff who are onsite from 8-8 were very pleasant and helpful. We especially liked the location of our room on the ground floor with a small, private patio and its close proximity to the shopping plaza. The room could use a deep clean as there were noticeable areas that have not been addressed in a while.
