The place was nice enough, but not special in any way. Service was on the slow side and the owner appeared to cut a few corners, it was always hard to find where the electrical was turned on. But, it was a pretty place. Dinner was overpriced.

We booked and paid for a room in Sicily. at this property through Expedia. The night before we were to arrive we received a call from the hotel saying that there was “A problem with our reservation.” When asked to elaborate, the gentleman would not. He told us that he made a reservation for us at a very nice hotel in the area. Period. No explanation. Thank you. Have a nice day. Fortunately, there was a reservation in our name at the new hotel, which was adequate. We had to pay for the room and I’m hoping that the original charge was not put through on our credit card. So, it all worked out. I never got to see the hotel, but I’m not happy with their reservation system.

Hard to find, not worth the effort
The address listed on the "hotel" takes you instead, via GPS, to the harbor 15 km from the hotel. More thean one guest had the same experience. This is Sicily! Dinner is not supposed to be bad. Bad at 30 euro per plate. Only place in 14 days in Sicily without Cappuccino for breakfast.

While the staff was very nice and our room was fine my Daughters room had a foul smell and when they woke up in the morning their clothes were covered with millipedes. She did not tell me about this until we had left so I could n

Avoid this place
The place is full of kitsch and not worth the money. Better to stay at Scala di Turchi Resort (4*). Well worth the additional 20 or 30 Euros. Do not waste your money on this place.

Disappointing
We were expecting a hotel with agriculture connections. There were none. Next to the road with motorcycles rolling by. Broken pottery was event in the garden area. We had heavy rain during the night and the room next to us had water coming down thru the ceiling. The breakfast was sparse and appeared to have been thrown together without thought. We were scheduled to stay two nights but left after one night. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Oasis in the middle of farmland
It's a nice place with warm welcoming hospitality. Plenty of easy parking on site. It is like a beautiful oasis in the middle of the surrounding farmland. It was raining when we were there, otherwise we would have taken advantage of the medium sized pool and the variety of lounge chairs.

Great agro tourist facility
Beautifully rebuilt farmhouse with lots of character. Grounds, patio & pool are very well kept. Meals were very good. Minor odor from bathroom but we kept door closed. Would definitely go again.

What a great experience
We found this gem on our tour of Italy and we were so pleased. We wished we could have stayed there longer. The place was just beautiful. As it turns out, the property was a farm at one time. The owner had it in his family and re-did the whole thing. The details he has added are just wonderful and the price was extremely reasonable. We wanted to be close to the city but not in the city and this was very well situated. Just 7 or 10 minutes from the Valley of the Temples. Our host was so welcoming and was an excellent cook. When we had dinner it was a full Sicilian dinner with several courses. Breakfast in the morning included the best omeltte I have ever eaten. The owner, Guiseppe, then gave us wonderful advice for spots of interest to visit on our way. If you are ever in Sicily, I would recommend this place.

A great find.
Food amazing - the best risotto I've ever had. Food and drink plentiful. Service excellent - friendly and travelling advice offered. Very peaceful setting, clean, English spoken, great view of Sicilian countryside. Breakfast huge. I recommend this property as true value for money.
Wonderful to be given a cold bubbly drink on arrival - no rush, great room, plenty of garden and seating outside.

want to go back!!!!!!!
Definately my favourite hotel on our Sicily trip! While it may not be for you if you seek absolute perfection it had such character, our room was gorgeous. Guiseppe and all of the staff were lovely, do eat there in the evening, superb food, great location for visiting beaches and Agrigento. I want to go back.......

Only one night but I would love to go back
We got there late (after 10PM), but they prepared a dinner for us anyway. The grounds and amenities were wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of our best hotel experiences on our trip.

Beautiful hotel and grounds
Very friendly staff. Prepared an excellent dinner and the best breakfast we experienced in Sicily. Very tastefully decorated with mosaics, statues, ceramics and flowers reminiscent of the ancient Greek and roman architecture of the region

Wonderful
We only stayed one night, but wished we had many more. There was a mix-up in our reservations, but we were graciously given a room and a dinner reservation 1 hr before the meal. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! Best meals we had on our 1 wk vacation.

Characterful
Comfortable well run hotel. Meals were very substantial and well prepared and presented. Our visit was at the end of a very hot and dry spell so the gardens tho' shady were limited and suffered from noise from the nearby road.
