A small and cozy hotel with a charming English style. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful, and nothing was ever a problem. The beds were a little firmer than what we are used to, but apart from that, everything about the hotel was great. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was what I expected for the price. The beds (at least in my room) were quite short. I’m not that tall but my feet were right at the end. The bathroom was also TINY. I’ve never seen a smaller bathroom. The shower had no warm water and the pressure was bad. When you showered the water spreds all over the floor, so you hade to go out to dry yourself and change. It was close to Victoria station which was very nice and the transportation was smooth. The surrounding area felt safe.

It was a good value option for a one-night stay. Compared to other very compact hotels in London, I found this one to be better overall. The bathroom was cleaner than expected, although there was a slight damp smell, which was still manageable. We also needed to leave our backpacks after checkout for the next day, and there was a £5 charge per bag. I was a bit surprised by this at first, but it seems to be a common practice in London.

Me and my son stayed here just to do some sight seeing around London. The staff were really nice, we dropped our bags early and they put them in our room ready for when we got back. They were also happy to look after them after we checked out to collect before we got our train home. The room was clean, we had a good nights sleep. I would happily stay here again. Perfect, cheap and cheerful.

Staff were really friendly and hotel is in a good location. Only issue we had was the shower had no doors or curtain or even a border on the floor so the whole floor of the bathroom got really wet everytime we had a shower. Not sure if it was just our room but other than that everything was good.

Great stay

It was a nice stay for 1 night, bed was comfy enough, room was compact but cosy and didn't feel claustrophobic. Checking in was smooth and receptionist pleasent and friendly. The little step into the bathroom caught me off gaurd, i understand why it's there as it's a wet floor shower, maybe a sign saying mind the step might be helpful just to draw attention to it. Only one cup with tea and coffee station. Didn't end up using though so didn't matter to us. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay here again we saw wicked and this was only 8 minutes walk from the victoria Apollo theatre

Worth the price

After getting past the glassed in reception the place feels very homey and safe. It’s clean, larger rooms and the window as great. They provide shampoo, soap, and coffee. The shower is the entire bathroom so that was interesting for someone travelling from North America although it’s common in the UK. Despite what the listing says there’s no breakfast option anymore. The room was a bit loud both from steer traffic and other rooms. Overall convenient, safe and affordable.

The hotel is in a handy location, the rooms are clean and neat, and the staff is friendly. It’s not fancy, but it’s a comfy and quiet place to sleep. The bed is good, but the small bathroom can make showering a bit tricky due to water splashing. They don’t serve breakfast, but you can get a cup of coffee. It’s an okay choice for the price, just keep your expectations in check

No thrills, does a job for a night or two.

It was fine. Booked for one night twin room for a mate and I. Just needed a place to crash for the night and could have a shower. It's no thrills, obviously some of the decor is a bit tired and lacks in certain areas. But if you just need a base for a night or two and on a budget then this does this job.
